Welcome to Room Of The Week!

Brought to you by Bot and huh!

Room of the Week or commonly known as ROTW, is a weekly article contest where you get to create a room based on what the theme of the week is. It’s an exciting way to show off your talented building skills as well as win a variety of prizes (which will be announced next week).

Thanks to all those who have submitted their rooms!

As usual, they continuously amaze us and show us that many people are extremely creative, imaginative and able to create magnificent rooms just from the furniture in the catalogue. It makes it fun and interesting to judge!

Last week, we gave you the theme: PRIDE MONTH!

Without further ado, here are the winners in order from first to third place, with honourable mentions following:

Pulse Memorial

Pride Party

Pride Parade

Honourable Mentions

Rupaul's DragCon

Amsterdam Pride

Gay Pride Parade

Congratulations to the winners of this week’s challenge!

Please seek out Bot or huh for the prizes on client.

A new week, a new theme! A fresh new canvas to motivate you to build!

This week’s theme is . . .

Dreaming is something that all of us have experienced at one point or another; some more than others. It is a deeply personal experience that is said to be unique to the individual. Dreams themselves are largely viewed as an aesthetic, a concept that we have only to grasp at when we find the time for unconsciousness. In our waking hours, they are something we cherish, something we may strive to accomplish and hope to succeed at. From lucid dreaming to haunting nightmares, the direction you choose to take is yours. And as always, good luck Habbooners and don’t forget to wear your safety helmets, even in your dreams!

Click here for more insight on the rules, which is highly recommended for new submitters!

For a brief description of the rules, look below:

The name of the room has to be [ROTW #_] Theme.

Make sure you have a screenshot of your room that is good quality uploaded on IMGUR.

We don’t allow the use of the following: room ads or blatantly copying rooms that already exist.

Please do not delete the room after submitting it.

If you have placed (meaning placing first, second or third) one week, the week after you cannot place at all.

FIRST: Featured in Staff Picks on the Navigator, gold badge, finalist trophy, 75,000 credits and 300 diamonds.

SECOND: Silver badge, 50,000 credits and 250 diamonds.

THIRD: Bronze badge, 50,000 credits and 200 diamonds.

All entries must be submitted by JULY 1ST, 11:59 A.M MST.
Results are released shortly after the submissions are closed or as soon as possible.

That's all for this week!

Congratulations to everyone who participated - you make ROTW what it is.

Good luck, have fun building and see you next week!

Feel free to contact us on discord for future themes and suggestions!

Disappointed by the staff response which feels like they now want us to shut up. Questioning whether an emulation of a hate crime carried out against LGBT people should be posted on ROTW during pride month is NOT absurd. Will now be quiet for own safety.

yesssssss hit us with those pastebins!

You should respect members of the LGBT community who would feel offended by it as well, silencing them definitely is not respecting them.

huh 3 months ago

Hi again! The room is not glorifying the attack as it is meant as a tribute to pay homage to the victims who were lost. Thank you for your feedback, but I would appreciate if you would respect the users who placed and drop it. Thanks!

GildedInteriors 3 months ago

Lol what a paradox to say your opinion would make it somehow even more correct than someone else’s on the article. What you just said is you could be wrong as well.

pespidoge 3 months ago

No filter failed. The article is fine as it is, and the chosen rooms are fine. Because you disagree doesn't mean it is the slightest bit incorrect. Do not be absurd.

well if anyone wants to see the DragCon in-game just search the room or my user on navigator! Happy Pride <3

yah 3 months ago

I think that user Bored had good intentions. The issue here is that the 'filter' role played by the moderators on the ROTW team has failed this week. If it is the case that submissions are unmoderated, then I don't see why ROTW isn't run by builders.

user bored did that! SO proud of him

Can't argue with that. Thank you for considering!

Wednesday 3 months ago

I see that point of view. I just think that going forward, perhaps using causes/movements as competition categories needs closer attention as his has clearly upset a few users!

pespidoge 3 months ago

A room build of a terrorist attack would be detailing the attack. The room build is a memorial to the incident which also is a moment of solitude and strong will by the LGBT community. The highlight of the build is the monument, not the club itself.

Wednesday 3 months ago

It is a shame the theme wasn't memorial. I do agree it's insensitive to place this during pride month as the shootings aren't particularly a celebration/pride event. It's a good room build... of a terrorist attack.

yah 3 months ago

I think a major oversight has been made here by the competition moderators. I don't know whether any friends/family/victims of the Orlando shooting are on Boon, but it seems massively insensitive to trivialise the matter with a pixel room on a Habbo Retro

GayLord 3 months ago

Congrats to all the winners but the show stealing room is user kiss' !!!

GildedInteriors 3 months ago

First place is a little insensitive
