This week's theme is…
Slice of Life
Written submissions are a classic part of AOTW, winners are announced bi-weekly for this segment.
This week you’re asked to write a short story or poem inspired by the theme Slice of Life! If you don’t know what Slice of Life means, here is a brief description: Slice of Life is a storytelling technique that focuses on everyday experiences, character development and daily routines. Instead of stories with dramatic plots and major climaxes, it is more focused on the mundane moments.
Here are some prompts to get you started:
- Summer Memories
- Coffee Shop Conversations
- A Random Act of Kindness
- One Rainy Afternoon
- The Best Decision I Ever made
- A Day That Changed Everything
These are only prompts, feel free to come up with your own and be as creative as you’d like!
Please be reminded that we do check for ChatGPT/AI. If this is found your submission will be disqualified.
These prizes are only available for the Written Submission section.
You will need to contact toad for ANY badge you win.
