Halloween with Connect!

The team at Connect have also been hard at work conjuring up some spooky Halloween festivities! There will be no time for boredom in this action packed month ahead… All of the following events have been brought to life by the wicked members of the Connect staff team.

We’re giving our Discord a ghoulish makeover - there will be plenty of spooky themed events, in addition to special Halloween versions of our usual well loved favourites like catchphrase and Q&A. Our Community Organisers will be hosting some online games such as Skribbl and Town of Salem too, so give practising your drawing gamers! Look out for these happening all month long in our server!
There will be exclusive Halloween Connect name colours and icons up for grabs to really cement your place as the spookiest member - and who knows you might find a few diamonds along the way too.

What’s Halloween without spooky movies? No need to be scared… midnight and Hannah will be hosting a Halloween movie every Friday night at 9pm BST/4pm EST/10am AEST (Saturday morning). Grab your popcorn and Halloween candy and be ready… members of the Connect community will be there to hold hands at a moment’s notice if anyone gets a bit too scared.
For watching along with us you’ll receive this nifty hotel badge and there will be a chance every week for one lucky devil to win an extra something! It’ll be worth sticking around for…

Sick of all the basic witches? Time to give your Halloween costume the ultimate makeover! All month long Connect will be hosting an art competition to create a Halloween mask - all art mediums are accepted, so if you’re a pixel artist or great with a pencil, now’s your chance to show off your skills.
This event will run all throughout October to give you ample time - you can’t rush perfection… For full details about this competition and where to submit your masterpiece, please check the activities forum in our Discord (linked below).
In addition to bragging rights, users who are placed in the top three entries will receive prizes!

mapache’s been hard at work all summer and now her home has been overrun by ghosts! In order to get rid of them all, she first needs to know exactly how many of them there are… the only problem is that they’re really good at hiding! Count the amount of ghosts in the room to help her banish them for good!

Everyone who submits the correct amount of ghosts found will receive this haunting badge, and 3 people will also be randomly chosen to receive a wearable! You’ll have until October 30th to find them all!

Is building more your thing? Fear not! asteria will be hosting a Halloween room building competition, starting on October 15th and ending October 29th!
The theme will be posted in the Connect server when the competition begins, but keep your eyes peeled by joining the server in the meantime… there’s these prizes to be won after all…
Prizes will be given to the top three entries!

There’s a monster on the loose! Actually… we didn’t get that far and so we’re missing a monster… Luckily skull’s been hard at work creating a monster-building simulation so that Halloween isn’t doomed forever.

Something strange is in the air in Habboon… Frank’s been finding strange things all over. There appear to be four ghouls haunting Habboon. Find these four ghouls and take a screenshot of yourself next to it in a room, once you’ve found all four, upload the images to Imgur and submit to our form below!
Their positions will change weekly every Sunday (starting on 2nd October), so users need to hunt around Connect and public rooms (rooms owned by Habboon) to find them in different places each week before they move!
People who find all four ghouls every week will win the following badge, and three lucky ghost hunters will be randomly chosen to win a wearable!

carleigh’s found herself abandoned in the forest and needs help to get out again. There are obstacles along the way so it may be tricky, but there are some badges to remind you of your hard effort! There will also be a chance to win a wearable if you grab a screenshot and submit to our Discord once you’ve reached the end too.

The preparation for this spooky season meant that 0666 has grown too many pumpkins, and they’ve gone rogue! Dodge all the pumpkins and battle to the end to be the winner, where you’ll receive the following badge to prove your victory!

Michaela’s been up to no good again… be prepared for some spooky Halloween 1v1 races - but watch out for the tricks along the way! Get lucky and enjoy an easier game, unluckiness will require slightly more skill.

Riddle me this… what would happen if you combined telephrase with riddles? You’d get 0666’s Halloween Riddle Maze! You’ll be left scratching your head looking for answers for this, so bring all the brainpower!
