Are you intrigued to find out What’s Happening on Habboon? Well, you’re in the right place - this bi-weekly article will cover all things Habboon and more! Stay tuned to find out more about the hotel, albeit rare rotations or staffing updates!

This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on the Kels!

Kels was nominated by the ever so wonderful Lil - here’s that Lil had to say about Kels!

"Kels always goes out of her way to help others and is such a lovely person to be friends with. I always see her putting a lot of hard work into her building/wiring for Boon Adventures and she is also part of Connect. We are lucky to have her amazing kind self as a member of the Habboon community!"

We asked a few questions to Kels about what it’s like being a part of this community!

Question 1: What is the best moment of your Boon experience so far?

kels: Overall, my Boon experience has been nothing short of amazing! I have been a member since 2016 on this account, albeit I probably had other accounts before that, but 13 year old kels definitely forgot all her passwords. I have been on and off with logging in to Habboon, found I lacked confidence and struggled to get anyone to really talk to me, which I blame on my own awkwardness, but since I decided to randomly log back in one day in April this year, I have really found my footing here again! I have really met some of the sweetest, funniest, most genuine people, who I speak to on and off the hotel! Nothing quite beats the day I logged in and became friends with one girl, which lead into me becoming friends with a whole group of people, and spending about 13 hours trying to complete the first 50 levels of Ryan's maze... but that is probably still one of my favourite moments.

Question 2: How does it feel to be actively involved in several communities within the hotel?

kels: Being a part of Connect and Boon Builders is one of the best things I chose to become a part of. I love building, I love wiring, and I love hosting events so, it has always been a win-win for me! I love feeling like I am contributing something, and have a creative outlet (since, as a naturally creative person, I chose a career in something that requires almost no creativity). That feeling of being told how nice my event rooms are, or that I have done a good job as a host, or showcasing projects in BB to then opening them to be played in the hotel, brings me a huge amount of pride and encourages me to progress further with both teams! 6 months ago I wouldn't have expected to be part of such a wicked community, much less now working in a management role for Connect!

I also enjoy providing support for people in the hotel - this means I help people out with building, wiring and all sorts! I'm super open to talk to anyone, as well as help people out, just as people did for me when I first started getting more involved (shout out to lu for teaching me to wire!)

It’s time to keep up to date with all things that have happened within the hotel in the past 2 weeks!

We have said goodbye to a few members of the staff team recently. It is with great sadness to announce that both rose and lu have stepped down from their position on the hotel as Moderators. We hope to still see them around on the hotel - it has been a pleasure having them on the team with us!

New Rare furnitures have been rotated into the catalogue (Economy > Rares)!

These include the Mammoth Sofa (125,000 credits), Black Monolith (450,000 credits & 10,000 duckets), Voodoo Doll (100,000 credits & 10,000 Duckets), Monster Plant (95,000 credits & a free badge), Black Leviathan (90,000 credits) & the Dragon of Destruction (25,000,000 credits)!

Diamond Clothing has also been rotated around (Economy > Diamond Shop > Diamond Clothing)!

Diamond Rares have also been updated - implementing the Brain Sofa (450 Diamonds), Trippy Typewriter (650 Diamonds) & the Dragon Dog Lamp (1050 Diamonds). These rares are limited release & will be assigned a unique number once purchased!

A Rare Fluffy Hat has been added into the catalogue & can be purchased for either 1250 Diamonds or 300,000 Credits & 95,000 Duckets

kie: Oh wow, Celeste really has a gorgeous voice that complements the melody of this song wonderfully! Thoroughly enjoyed this song & could see myself studying to more tunes from Celeste in the near future!

Patrick: Damn this song hits in the feels. The lyrics and rendition of the song is very haunting & emotional at the same time. But the vocals of Celeste makes the whole song so beautiful. I love her unique voice, it adds so much feeling to the song. I like it so much..

One user has asked: ‘What advice might you give to others about growing older?’

kie: To seize every opportunity that comes your way! Honestly, push yourself out of your comfort zone, work hard & enjoy every moment that you have! Most importantly, don’t forget to treat yourself!!

Patrick: Life is short, adulthood is stressful and hard as you have a lot of responsibilities to fulfill. Enjoy while you can. Always live your life like there's no tomorrow.
