Welcome back, Booners! GOTW stands for Gamer of the Week, which rewards the top events players of the past seven days. For every hotel alerted event that you win, you will be awarded GOTW points and diamonds, and during the month of December - snowflakes too! You can keep track of the number of GOTW points you have accumulated per week by looking at the top right hand corner of your screen.We hope you are all excited and ready, and may the best Booners win!

This festive season, GOTW is back with a twist - replacing the weekly leaderboard we will be hosting 12 DAYS OF GOTW which will be running from today, 13th of December 2023 and will end on 24th of December, 11:59 PM GMT.

To help new events players out, we've created a compilation of all the games and rules that can be hosted during events. Whether you're a newbie or looking to refresh your memory, check it out by clicking here!

So how will this work? Instead of the weekly placements, in the span of 12 days, we will be gathering the top 3 placements EVERYDAY! Players will get the chance to win some wearables, badges, and of course snowflakes! But the catch is, you cannot place for 3 days after you have placed in the top 3 of that day! This is just to keep things fair and make it interesting and inclusive for as many players as possible.

For example: If you place today, December 13th, you won't be able to place until December 17th!

How are you going to announce the winners? Good question! We will be posting the top 3 placements daily on the Habboon Discord (discord.gg/habboon) so make sure to watch out to see if you placed on that day.

You can also keep track of the leaderboards that can be found on the Homepage > Community > GOTW Leaderboards. Staff will be able to place in the span of 12 days but they won't appear on the leaderboards, so you might be wondering if you're #2 on the leaderboards but at the posting of winners it may be something different - feel free to reach out to Michaela if there’s any confusion! Leaderboards will reset everyday at midnight (GMT) as well, so you will go back to 0 everyday.

Will there be changes from the rules, strikes, etc...? None! We are going to stick with the current GOTW rules and if you happen to get player striked TWICE, then we're sorry but you can no longer place any of the GOTW placements in the span of 12 days!

The prizes for each day will be as follows:

1ST PLACE: Randomised between Duck Backpack, Oversized Scarf, Star Crown, Christmas Tree Outfit + 300 snowflakes + 350 diamonds + Badge of your choice
