Thank you for an amazing Christmas duration on Habboon! While Snowflakes are still being earned and spent, it is sadly time to say goodbye soon. The entire point of the Snowflake Shop is to allow users to have a chance at earning clothing items that might've cost diamonds in the past, don't see much rotation in the catalogue or on the marketplace, and also to just reward you with a selection of gifts for spending Christmas on Habboon.

However, it's now time to anticipate a return to form and what is held in store for you this month with the catalogue. 

Goodbye Snowflakes!

Thanks for another great festive season on Habboon, but it's time to say goodbye! We'll be closing the Snowflake Store on Friday, 19th January 2024. We're happy that the users had a great time earning their snowflakes and rewarding themselves with some clothing, rares and badges. We'll be making sure to be taking some form of feedback regarding how the festive period went and what you liked and didn't like about it. There'll be more information in the near future regarding this feedback and how we'll go about hearing it. 

We'll be making small additions/removals to the Snowflake store over the next few days to give more variety, or hopeful last minute purchases, to the users. 

Chinese New Year 2024!

Happy Chinese New Year to those who celebrate! To embrace this cultural tradition that many of our users participate in, we'll be releasing (old and new) items for you to have a chance at grabbing! Each week we'll rotate through the previous years of Chinese Zodiac clothing and rare statues for you to have a chance at grabbing, alongside the badges that come with it. We'll be releasing the following: 

13/01 - Rat Accessories & Rat Statue (Normal and Gold)
20/01 - Ox Accessories & Ox Statue (Normal and Gold)
27/01 - Tiger Accessories & Tiger Statue (Normal and Gold)
03/01 - Rabbit Accessories & Rabbit Statue (Normal and Gold)
10/02 - Dragon Accessories & Dragon Statue (Normal and Gold)

Rare Rotations in 2024

One of the most important things for the year is getting back on track with a weekly rare rotation in 2024. Over the years, we've changed the way we did rare rotations. We've done single rare releases each week, multiple rare releases each week and then sporadic rare releases at random points of time. It is probably best to try and restore the schedule pattern so that users are aware of when to expect rare rotations. There'll be more regarding this soon. However, it is important to understand that rare rotations are to help with economy health by giving to the community to allow them to hold rares, sell rares, trade rares and gamble rares. 

While a rotation is being curated internally, it'd be nice to know what rares you want to see. Although, these type of suggestions are usually open to bias and suggested in a vain attempt of getting the rare for yourself. This will be considered in the decision making of finalizing a rare rotation. For now, the Snowflake Store has allowed a healthy amount of new and old rares to be dispersed into the economy and will likely hold you off for another week or two while we try our best to finalize the Q1 Rare Rotations of the year.

Diamond Store in 2024

The Diamond Store is another part of the catalog that users look forward to when hearing about clothing rotations etc. However, the approach towards the diamond store might be different this year round. With the way diamonds are now earned, they're more than plenty of diamonds existing within the many different communities on Habboon. Not wanting to re-release whole new pages of 16-26 clothing items either, as it'll just ruin the entire excitement and purpose of the recent Snowflake Shop, the Diamond Store will likely see weekly rotations made the same time as the Rare Rotations. We'll explore a rotation of NFT/LTD furniture rares and clothing rares. Clothing will be a small amount to keep the weekly rotations mostly fresh and exciting (but will feature returning items eventually) and NFT/LTD rotations will allow us to get more of the backlog that we have out there.

We'll be looking into exploring more possible options of rewarding diamonds amongst users for access to what we release in this store, while possibly revisiting the idea of holiday-based currencies other times of the year other than Winter (not a promise). If you have any suggestions for returning NFT/LTD rares or diamond clothing that you'd like to see (preferably stuff that you did not get to see in the Snowflake Shop), then please let us know.
