Are you intrigued to find out What’s Happening on Habboon? Well, you’re in the right place - this bi-weekly article will cover all things Habboon and more! Stay tuned to find out more about the hotel, albeit rare rotations or staffing updates!

This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on isa nominated by Jade!

She's been part of the community since 2019. Isa is often taking part in mazes, particularly Boon Adventures quests (she used to be one of the Boon Builders Leaders!).

Here’s Jade’s reasoning as to why she chose her:

“The kindest human on this earth”

We’ve asked some questions for her:

“How does it feel to be such a loved member of the community?”

Isa: Honestly it feels very welcoming and I really appreciate for taking apart of this spotlight moment because I was very shocked, I personally wouldn’t have thought id get chosen mainly because I tend to stay to myself alot but thank you for allowing me to have this moment! In the past however, I used to be so intimidated to come around, not for any personal reason, but mainly because I am a very sensitive person, so I try to stay as positive with a smile on my face every single day but recently I have taken upon myself and distance myself away from logging onto the client and come online here and there but all I am doing is focusing on my well being, but each time that I do I always look forward to seeing and talking to everyone, I used to be extremely shy when approaching new people but even over the past few months I have made quite a handful of new friends. Whether you are on the boon, connect, or BA staff team, or just as a general user, you all are amazing, creative, and the most very well supportive people I have met ?? I thank quite a handful of you all for accepting me as a person and being there for me through thick and thin, even when I am at my lowest!

“What’s your most unforgettable Boon experience?”

Isa: I think my unforgettable boon experience would be the day that Ive gotten asked to join the Boon adventure’s team to help out and build. i joined during bratz theme! I was on that staff team for nearly 4 years but I have decided about a month ago and let myself off the team due to working on myself, school/work. When I have gotten asked to join, I thought to myself “ why me? Out of all people on this client?” due to the fact I know there are so many talented people out there, I had very low confidence on myself then because I thought I was just not meant for it but they saw the potential in me and I completely went for it. thanks to them I had a love interest in building and For those years running, and even today , they have helped me grow as a person and helped me learn how to overcome anything. To me , they are still a family in my eyes no matter what. It was never goodbye, it’s see you later ??

It’s time to keep up to date with all things that have happened within the hotel in the past weeks!

Goodbye Flash! As a part of this transition, the Developer team have been busy implementing an amplitude of changes to the hotel to enhance user experience! This includes a newly designed Chat History (with the search function remaining), you can now search for furniture in your inventory, very subtle toolbar changes, you can now search for badges in your inventory, furniture searching during trade view has been fixed & reduced camera photo purchase price by 1,000 credits & 1,000 duckets.

Weekly Rares have been updated. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares > Weekly Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges when buying these rares.

Weekly Clothing has been updated as well. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares > Clothing Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges when buying these wearables.

Sentimental songs are the soulful melodies that have the remarkable ability to touch the deepest corners of our hearts and evoke a wide range of emotions.

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

This week’s featured song is ‘Beautiful Things’ by Benson Boone, submitted by user Avery. Read our thoughts on the track down below!

kie: Benson Boone is truly a wonderful singer, I love his voice so much. This song is truly wonderful, the guitar is beautiful and the melody is sublime! Such a fabulous song choice!

pat: The song has a very nice buildup and you can feel the song from the way the artist sang it. When listening to the chorus, it sounded so familiar, then I realised it’s a track that is used a lot from Instagram/YouTube/TikTok reels LOL. Benson’s voice is great, I love his range and his growly belts. Overall, nice song!

Zef has asked: “What advice might you give to others about growing older?”

Kie: Honestly, lifes too short to care what other people think of you! Some people will always have negative perceptions of yourself, but don’t let that bother you because as long as you’re happy and content with what you’re doing then that’s all that matters! Don’t let the negative people ruin things that you enjoy doing or would like to do in the future!

pat: Always live life to the fullest and choose to do things that you truly love. If you still can’t find it, try to explore and have fun. Like what Kie said, life’s too short. When you’re going to be an adult, you’re going to have a responsibility and be independent with your choices. Always remember that life’s not perfect. You’ll experience rejections, heartbreaks, sorrows, and more hardships as you grow older. But you should know that there’s light at the end of the tunnel, with people you encounter to support and be with you when times get rough. No man’s an island, that’s for sure.
