This is a monthly article based on various event-related games, including but not limited to:

 

mazes • wired games • board games • mind games • escape rooms • competitions

 

Some of these games are designed to test your wit, your patience, and your problem-solving skills, while others are competitive and fun for everyone. On the 1st of every month (unless otherwise), a new game or event will be up for you lucky Booners to participate in to challenge yourselves and win some nifty things!

Without further ado … drumroll … our next theme for the month of May is:

Welcome to the Eras Tour!

 

In this quest, all of you Swifties (and non Swifties) will be able to follow along with Taylor Swift as she sings through the eras of her albums. 

 

Each room will represent a song from the concert line up. In each room, you will collect words that will resemble a chosen lyric from one of her songs. You will earn a special badge when submitting this lyric and guessing the song that goes with it.

Swiftball is a competition that up to 30,000 fans play for each concert of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. It is essentially fantasy football, but in a Taylor Swift universe. It is a game played through social media. Here is a brief summary/explanation of the real-life game from an article online: 

“Before each “Eras” concert kicks off, the team of Swiftie volunteers that runs Swiftball tweets a Google form with a ballot specific to that night’s show. Participants answer a range of questions: When Swift performs the song “Lover,” will she use a pink guitar or a blue guitar? During the Folklore set, will she wear her purple dress, cream dress, pink lace dress, green dress, or a new dress? How many minutes will the standing ovation after the song “Champagne Problems” last? Which two surprise songs—acoustic versions of songs that aren’t on the official “Eras” tour set list—will she play? Will there be a special guest? The list goes on, but the Swifties are not daunted.

Many fans then tune in to the concert via livestreams on social media and track how many points they earn as the night unfolds. I first learned about Swiftball after hearing my younger sister’s cheers of triumph and groans of disappointment drowning out the livestream playing on her phone. She was in the middle of Swiftball and aiming for the perfect score of 113, a nod to Swift’s lucky number 13. The player with the most points at the end of the night wins prizes donated by other fans, many of whom are fellow Swiftball players.”

 

We are bringing Swiftball to Boon Adventures! 

For the remainder of May, Taylor Swift has 6 concerts for her Eras Tour. The schedule is as follows:

On the day before each of these concerts, we will release a Google Form document in the Swiftball channel on our Boon Adventures discord server.

The form will consist of questions that you must answer to predict certain things from the concert, like what color Taylor will wear or what the surprise song of the night will be!

The users with the most correct answers will win. If there is a tie, the winner will be randomly generated through a spinner wheel.

Prizes: If you participate all six times, you earn a badge. If you win, you earn 30 Boon Adventures tokens.

 

Show your love to your fellow Swifties and friends through friendship bracelets!

Throughout the month of May, you can send friendship bracelets to TWO friends of your choice! All you need to do is submit both your username and your friends' usernames by using the Google Forms link provided on our BA discord server.

 

Prizes: a badge for each of the two friends!

 

 

Get ready to dive into the world of Taylor's iconic songs and see who can fill in the missing lyrics correctly!

The host will post lyrics with missing  part(s). Your task is to fill in the missing part(s) and submit your answer through the Google Forms link provided. In the event that multiple players got the correct answer, the host will select the winner via randomizer.

 

Prizes: 10 Boon Adventures Tokens and a badge.
