Are you intrigued to find out What’s Happening on Habboon? Well, you’re in the right place - this bi-weekly article will cover all things Habboon and more! Stay tuned to find out more about the hotel, albeit rare rotations or staffing updates!

This is a section where we place a highlight on a segment of the hotel. These can either be individual users who deserve to be recognised for their kindness across the hotel, for being a good friend or an excellent event player.

This week, we’re placing a spotlight on Bow nominated by afk!

She's been part of the community since 2016. You can also see her around the hotel with her friends, often in Events or completing Boon Adventures quests!

Here are afk’s reasonings as to why they chose her:

“Because shes bright, intelligent, clever and the best friend I can ask for”

We’ve asked some questions for her:

“How did you discover Habboon and what made you stay?”

Bow: oh wow, this is taking a trip down memory lane ! I think I first discovered habboon when me and a couple of Habbo friends got banned ( from habbo)… one of the girls discovered habboon so we came on to check out why it had over 300 users !! I’ve been on / off habboon since whatever year i first started ( mainly because of real life ) but I mainly stayed because I was apart of the boonadventures team ! That team was my everything and I have so much love/respect for them !!!

“What was your favourite Boon Adventures quest to build & take part in?”

Bow: holy sh** boonadventures has had so many wonderful quests throughout my 4/5 years on the team so it’s kinda hard to choose…. I would say my favourite rooms that I’ve ever built would have to be either Harry Potter, boonadventure lane or valentines quest!! These three quest have the most gorgeous rooms/badges and I was just so proud of everything I done within those months !!!

It’s time to keep up to date with all things that have happened within the hotel in the past weeks!

Hooray to more Habboon upgrades! The development team has had a lot of updates. To know more about Sledmore’s updates, you can check the #updates channel in our Habboon Discord server.

The Developer team is now focused on Wired 2.0! Meaning, there will be more Wireds added to the catalogue. To know more about this, join our Discord server and join the “Wired” role for Sledmore’s timely updates, and to add your suggestions/ideas as well.

Weekly Rares have been updated. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares > Weekly Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges when buying these rares.

Weekly Clothing has been updated as well. These can be found by heading to the Economy tab > Rares > Clothing Rares in the catalogue! You will earn badges when buying these wearables.

Ryan has announced a new world for The Maze, named World ?. With 25 new levels, the entrance of this World lies within an existing one. As this World is not easily reached by light, resuming is limited to every 5th level except the last.

Sentimental songs are the soulful melodies that have the remarkable ability to touch the deepest corners of our hearts and evoke a wide range of emotions.

In this segment, we invite you to submit your favourite song and allow us to provide the emotions evoked by the lyrics and melody.

kie: To be fair, I’ve loved this song for so many years. It reminds me of my brothers GCSE music when he played this in a part of a band. It’s a song that has stuck around and been so popular for many years, the lyrics are cute and the melody is even better. What’s not to love? :)

pat: Damn, a hit from Gotye and now he is somebody that we used to know. LOL. But on a serious note, it has been a huge bop during the 2010's and I listened to it a lot. It was very unique, it feels like the song gravitates you in. I loved the voice layers production-wise as it brings out great melodies and also loved the instrumentals. It is organic and original that it stands out from other songs imo.

rej has asked: “what do you love about being a staff?”

kie: It’s no surprise that I have wanted to be staff for a long while now… since probably 2018 I was applying constantly just because I thought we could make a change and make boon a better place to be. I also love mixed events too, so having the opportunity to run and supervise them is nice for me! I’m quite a creative person too, so making articles such as this one has been wonderful and an absolute pleasure. Working with Pat on Habboon Happenings is an experience in itself, we have such a laugh making this article (when we don’t forget about it). I also run Snapshot of the Week with storms, which is another article where we have great fun deciding which themes to do. Through staff, I also met one of my best friends on the hotel - lil, dunno what i’d do without her on the hotel.

pat: There are a lot of things I love about being staff. I love that I am able to handle reports to make Habboon a safer retro. But the best part for me honestly is having to use my creativity and entertain users other than the usual mixed events & quests. Games like Werewolf Game & Deal or No Deal are slowly making a mark in today's era. I love seeing users being entertained with what I do. And aside from supervising events, I'm glad there are other stuff I can host in seasonal events to make Habboon more fun to play. I'm proud of what I've done so far and I can't wait to contribute in the future when more ideas come to mind. I'm very grateful to the management for giving me the opportunity.
