"I've essentially been consulted to mediate a friend group drama that I technically created - they don't even suspect my involvement since it predates the actual formation of the friend group itself!!

Hell, I didn't even know my own involvement until they started digging for receipts to argue each side's case and I saw my old Tumblr blog user....

Moral of the story is: it is okay to lie to your acquaintances if they are notorious for dramatics and are arguing amongst themselves about a Tumblr beef from circa 2016 (and as long as you don't get called out but that's up to you I suppose)"
